Choosing the Right Hair Restorer Products Whether You are a Man or a Woman
67Losing hair is common for both a man and a woman. Women tend to speak about this loss less then men do. This does not mean that women do not have this problem as they do very commonly. No matter the sex of the person, there is some debate over what the best hair restoring product may be.
If a lady suffers from balding, they can wear a wig to hide it. Men do not like this as their hair pieces are much more obtrusive in many cases. There are not that many types of hair pieces for men that actually look natural. There are more types of wigs available for women. They come in a wide variety of options for any hair type.
Wigs are not very comfortable to wear when you are not used to them and they can create a good deal of heat on the head. Cleaning will be an issue or they can begin to have a foul odor. It is not very cheap to get a nice wig that will match the hair.
For the cost of a wig there are other options that would offer a more comfortable solution to hair loss. There are many medications on the market with the most common being Minoxidil. Minoxidil has been around for quite some time and many know it by its more common name of Rogaine. This has been an effective hair restorer for a good amount of people.
Not everyone who suffers from balding will get the results that they desire from Minoxidil as it does not work for everyone. It is also to be noted that the product must be used continually to work effectively or hair loss will again begin to be a problem.
Finasteride is another common hair restorer treatment method. This comes in a pill form and it promotes hair growth. There will be new hair where the balding was once very bad. The hair will not only grow in the bald spots but the rest of the hair will also begin to get thicker as well. It will not grow back to the way it was when people were young, but it will do a lot of good.
There are some downsides to the use of Finasteride as a hair restorer. It can not be used by ladies who are planning on having a child or who are currently with child as this product will harm an unborn baby. Another downside is that it can affect a man’s libido. As soon as you quit using this product, the hair will revert to the balding and thinning.
If a more permanent solution is needed, then a transplant may be the best option when it comes to a hair restorer. While it seems like an expensive solution, it is actually not. When you consider the price of a lifetime of taking products for hair growth stimulation, then it is quite easy to justify the larger upfront cost of this procedure. You only need to do a few transplants to get the results without having to spend your life taking a pill.
