A common problem in getting any child to sit down and do their homework is the distractions that are available to them in the home setting. They are watching TV, playing video games or just running around being a kid. The home setting does not bode well if you really want them to sit down and concentrate on their work. When your child comes home from school, the last thing that they want to do is their homework.
